What is Fogging?
The fogger machine uses a liquid solution that is transformed into a vapor. As more vapor is dispersed it advances into a thick mist or fog-like atmosphere, hence the name fogging. Until recently fogging has not traditionally been used in the public sectors but due to the outbreak of COVID-19, it can provide an extra measure to your current cleaning practices.
Our technicians use specialist handheld equipment uniquely designed to disperse the fog which can kill, repel bacteria and viruses on surfaces, floors, and hard-to-reach places that often go overlooked through ordinary cleaning. Fogging offers our clients a fast, cost-effective and a simple way to protect your homes and businesses.
Fogging is versatile enabling you to use it as frequently or as little as you like; it all depends on your need. You can use fogging as a full-service, routine measure or in addition to your current cleaning practices. We offer two types of service which can be added onto any of our other services or as a stand-alone service only:
- OPT 1 – Fogging Sanitiser Clean
- OPT 2 – Fogging Sanitiser and Protection Clean – includes a BCcleaning certificate to display detailing the date when the service was completed. Regular fogging cleans thereafter are booked in advance to suit your requirements.

This type of clean can provide comfort to those visiting your premises with our certificate on display.
If you are considering using our service, we have outlined the following guidance to be aware of:
- Areas need to be vacated and entry is not permitted whilst the clean is underway.
- Make sure surfaces are clear where possible.
- Put away and remove all open food from exposed areas.
- Children’s and/or pet toys should be stored or removed prior.
- We advise you perform your own wipe down afterwards as an added measure.
- It is recommended that the area fogged remains well ventilated and human-free for a minimum of 1 hour after the service is performed.
